WOW! I can't believe how much I've learned from doing this full body walk cycle as part of my body mechanics assignment Animation Mentor , especially when it comes to improving my polishing workflow.
I followed the arcs and spacing of the heels, knees, hip, nose and hands to make sure they move smooth and without popping and jitters. I also worked on separate parts of the body by hiding the parts I didn't need, slowly building the complexity of the animation. Really tried to make sure all the parts of the body work together.
The biggest take away is that I don't feel overwhelmed anymore by the amount of controls and curves I have to work with, which is invaluable to me! I'm quite proud with how the walk turned out. This has certainly been the most challenging and fun assignment up until now.
I'd love to know what you think? Any feedback and suggestions for improvement are always highly appreciated.
Take care, Bas
